2006 Events

During the 2006 season we will be committed to devote our time and resources to the development of each girl through mentoring, training, and support. Our plans are to update our facilities, purchase new equipment and develop training programs for the coaches and players. But we need your help!!! Please consider becoming part of the future of our girls. We have several ways you can be involved.

Got Gear? This year the league is having its first New-2-U sale.  The gently used equipment (gloves, bats, sliders, ball, helmets, bags, nets, etc.) donated during evaluations will be available for purchase during the Player's Clinic.  The Player's clinic will take place on February 4, 2006 at the Los Cerritos fields from 9:00 to 11:00 am.  The items will be sold at bargain prices, so everyone wins! 2006 Yearbook Advertising This book goes to print at the end of our season and is handed out to all families participating in the league. The year book consists of team pictures, individual action shots, as well as vendor coupons and your advertisement. Over 1,000 books will be in print and this book has tremendous shelf life. Each year we try to sell advertising in the yearbook with very little success.  So this year we have cut costs in the hope that arms would grow a little longer but not have to reach too deep.   Below are ad spaces and costs available: Middle of the Book $ 250.00 Back Cover:                        SOLD $ 250.00 Inside Back Cover $ 200.00 Inside Front Cover        SOLD $ 200.00 Full Page Ad $ 200.00 Half Page Ad $ 125.00 Quarter page Ad $ 50.00 Business Card Ad $ 25.00 Family Mention $ 5.00 Teams, businesses, neighbors, etc. can sponsor a page.  The team that is responsible for the most ad dollars receives $100.00 towards a party at BJ's Restraurant in Westlake. 2006 Yearbook We would like to thank all the Team parents for their help this year, keeping the teams organized and most important, having fun!! Each year T.O.G.S.A. provides a yearbook for each player that will capture the year and provide memories that will last forever. Each team will have a team picture page as well as a collage (this is where we need your help).  The collage consists of pictures of your team collected from everyone.   Players can buy a personal ad of 25 words or less for only $5.00.
